Response

A

Testing is not currently undertaken on arrivals into the Island at this time, but may be piloted in the near future. Currently anyone entering is subject to 14 days quarantine (self-isolation) period if the passenger agrees.

B

Not applicable

C

The decision was taken to quarantine arrivals, rather than test them, based upon a review of the information available at the time.

D to F

14-day mandatory quarantine for returned travellers was implemented for those returning specifically from Wuhan province on 30 January 2020. This was extended to all those returning from China on 7 February 2020. The list of countries was then expanded as infection spread worldwide. After 20 March 2020 all arrivals into the island were required to quarantine for 14 days.
