Request
What are the salaries associated with the various roles in Social Security? Specifically, Employment Adviser, Enforcement Officer, Customer Service Adviser, Income Support Adviser, Determining Officer, Team Leader.
Response
The roles that you refer to are now part of Customer and Local Services (CLS).
The salary bands are as follows:
Employment Advisor – £33,370 - £37,570
Customer Service Adviser – £33,370 - £37,570
Enforcement Investigations Officer – £33,370 - £37,570
Team Leader – £42,589 - £49,357
The roles for Income Support Adviser and Determining Officer are not job titles that exist in the Customer and Local Services structure. Duties of the former Income Support Advisor role are now part of a wider Customer Service Advisor role. A Determining Officer is not a job title, but is a duty within the roles of all the above.
