Request

A
How many people have tested negative for Covid 19 when arriving from an Amber or red country.
B
Of those people, how many tested positive on the second test.

Response

A
Since 14 August 2020 to 21 September there have been approximately 3800 passengers with declaration forms from Amber / Red countries. It is noted that records are reliant on passengers fully declaring their travel history and therefore numbers cannot be exact.
Percentage of infections by country categorisation (i.e Red/Amber or Green) are available on the Gov.je website and updated regularly:
Coronavirus (COVID-19) tests and cases in Jersey
B
In that period, there were a total of five people from arrivals screening that have tested negative on a day 0 test and then positive on a day five test.
