Request

I would like to request an organisation chart for staff working at the incinerator, identifying their function, and clustering any staff with the same function together so they cannot be identified individually. Organisation charts such as these have been published for the Health department in the past without breaching Data Protection or identifying individuals.

I would also like to know:
How many staff are in the workforce operating the incinerator? How many staff are in management above them?
How many staff are in support roles to management?

Response

Due to the specific breakdown of staff within the request, we will be applying exemption 25 of the Freedom of Information Law (FOI Law) to protect the identity of the staff breakdown requested which is as follows:

Exemption(s)

25 Personal information

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.

There are a total of 25 staff who operate, manage and support the incinerator in its day to day workings. An organisational chart is provided below.
