All data below excludes Teaching Assistant’s and Zero Hour employees. Our current system enables only to record ‘male’ and ‘female’ gender classifications.

82.8% of the Primary Teacher Workforce (Heads and Deputies and Teachers) is female (304 Staff), and 17.2% is male (63 Staff)

61.7% of the Secondary Teacher Workforce (Heads and Deputies and Teachers) is female (263 Staff), and 38.3% is male (163 Staff)

68.8% of the Teacher Workforce (Heads and Deputies, Teachers and Lecturers) is female (660 Staff), and 31.2% is male (300 Staff) – This includes Primary, Secondary, Higher Education (Highlands College) and Teachers who support Mixed Schools (Jersey Music Service, Mont-a-L’Abbe, La Sente, Special Educational Needs Teachers, Jerriais Teachers)
