£457,844 has been spent to make areas of the old police headquarters safe for operation by the Sea Cadets.
The work was primarily on the electrical distribution system, fire alarms and emergency lighting. The works were tendered and represent better value than the sums that would have been required to make the previous Sea Cadet’s premises acceptable.
