Can the number of minimum wage workers in Jersey be provided per year since the onset of data being recorded.
Response
Statistics Jersey holds a limited amount of data on this. In 2013, 2016 and 2019 we asked additional questions of businesses as part of our Annual Average Earnings Survey which allowed us to estimate the number of minimum wage workers. The results were as follows:
2013 = 3,000 ±300
2016 = 3,000 ±200
2019 = 2,300 ±200
