In late 2020 and early 2021 a staff review was conducted of the Civil Service staff employed by the States of Jersey Police (SOJP). Please can you supply the following information.

Pre Staff Review

A

Prior to the commencement of the staff review how many Civil Service posts existed in the SOJP Civil Service establishment, including those that were sitting vacant?

B

How many of each Civil Service pay grades made up the pre review Civil Service establishment in SOJP, including the posts that were sitting vacant?

C

Based on 2021 Civil Service remuneration what was the combined annual wage bill for the Civil Service establishment in SOJP if all Civil Service posts were actually filled?

Post Staff Review

A

Following the completion and implementation of the review how many Civil Service posts now exist in the SOJP Civil Service establishment, including those that are sitting vacant?

B

How many of each Civil Service pay grades now make up the new SOJP Civil Service establishment, including those posts that are sitting vacant?

C

Based on 2021 Civil Service remuneration what is the combined annual wage bill of the new SOJP Civil Service establishment if all the posts were actually filled?

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018; and

(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
