For each week of the years 2019, 2020 and 2021 (to date) please provide a table showing:
The total number of people turning up to Accident and Emergency (A&E)
The average waiting time for all patients
The average waiting time for children
The average number of staff on shift in A&E at any one time

Please confirm how patients attending A&E are prioritised (eg by severity of illness / age?)

The table attached shows the count of Emergency Department (ED) attendances by Year and Week Number (Monday-Sunday) as well as:
Average time to triage – Calculated from the time the patient checked in with ED reception to the time they were seen by the triage nurse.
Average total stay in department – Calculated from the time the patient checked in with ED reception to the time they were marked as discharged from the department.

Early Shift - 6 RNs / 1 HCA / 1 ENP (covers 08:00 – 16:00)
Late Shift - 5 RNs / 1 HCA
Night Shift - 4 RNs / 1 HCA
