Waiting lists for cancer screening services (FOI)

Can you please provide the waiting list figures for cancer screening services, broken down by month and by type of cancer, for 2021, 2020 and 2019.

For the people awaiting screening as of 1 October, please state how long they have been waiting for their screening.

The information as requested is not held in a reportable format for the purpose of Freedom of Information. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied.

Every effort has been made to provide the information requested within the time limit under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, however, this has not been possible. We can advise that there is an ongoing piece of work to review the processes which will hopefully enable provision of such data in the future.

Article 3 - Meaning of “information held by a public authority”

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
