Long-Term Care Scheme

If an individual requiring long-term care is on income support, or a low income of below £30,000 and living in rented accommodation, how does that person access the Long-Term Care Scheme?

Is there alternative financial support for individuals rehabilitating following a stroke or other serious injury who are requiring long-term care but cannot afford to pay for it?

Response

All details of the Long-Term Care scheme and how to access it are publicly available on www.gov.je. As the information requested is accessible by other means, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
