Under the recent MOU with Antigua for 6 month work permits can you please provide the detail relating to GoJ budget allocated to it including:

In order for the project to be launched including any cost to non-government (private) parties and
B
If a external designer was contacted were / are they Jersey based
C
The total cost / budget allocated to the project
D
The Minister that signed off the budget
E
Any ring fenced budget allocated to future projects of this kind

The Government of Jersey has not provided funding to any non-government (private) parties. We are not aware of any costs incurred by non-government (private) parties. Please also see response to question C.
B
The Government of Jersey has not engaged any external designers into a contract nor contacted any external designers regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Antigua.

There is a budget allocated of up to £700. To date, no spend has been incurred.
D
The budget falls within the Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture’s allocation. The Minister is not required to give specific approval to a spend of up to £700.

There is no ring-fenced budget allocated for future projects of this kind.
