The minutes of the Misuse of Drug Advisory Council recently published via an FOI request mention the attendance of a Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service:

I can find no mention of the role of Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service on the Gov.je website since the departure of Michael Gafoor from the position in late 2016.
Please could you clarify the status of the Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service since the end of 2016, including when the current Director was employed and what the role entails?

There is no Director of Alcohol and Drug Services.
A representative of the Alcohol and Drug Services attends the Misuse of Drug Advisory Council. The job title assigned to this representative in the minutes is therefore inaccurate.
