Request
Given the likely high rise of the cost of living, I would like to know:
A
How many of Property Services leases are pegged to a cost of living rise each year?
B
How many of those leases related to non-profit organisations (clubs and societies)?
If this last question is too difficult, how many of those leases are related to organisations with club or society in their name?
Response
A
Jersey Property Holdings (JPH), formerly Property Services, are the landlord on 48 leases that include Jersey Retail Price Index (JRPI) cost of living increases.
17 of the 48 leases are annual JRPI increases with the remainder being three yearly or five yearly JRPI rent reviews.
B
JPH currently have three leases with annual JRPI increases in place with non-profit organisations.
