Response

The information is provided in the attached spreadsheet.

It is determined that to provide the figures fewer than five would likely breach the privacy of individuals therefore disclosure control has been applied under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) 2011 Law.

Please note that the information provides totals, those studying in Jersey, those studying in the UK and those studying overseas, by subject area.

Please also note that Highlands College is not the only provider of degrees on island and the figures provided in the Jersey column take account of all providers, not just Highlands College.

Not all students register with Student Finance therefore the totals provided will not match the actual numbers of students attending Higher Education.

Each Freedom of Information request is responded to with live data. Therefore, it is likely that information regarding current student cohorts will change due to a number of circumstances; the student withdraws or fails their course, the fees change or the student / parent's actual income changes which in turn affects their entitlement. There may also be some students that have registered but who decide not to attend.
