In the last five years what is the percentage a motor car/motorcycle driving theory test failures?

Out of those failures what were the rates of failures i.e, by how many points?

The Driver and Vehicle Standards (DVS) section do not hold the driving theory test information in a percentage format, therefore, Article 10 of the Freedom of information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies. 

Under the Freedom of Information legislation DVS are not required to create a new data set, however, the attached spreadsheet provides the driving test failure figures for 2017 to 2021 to allow you carry out your own percentage calculations.

The systems are not configured in a way that will allow an extraction of the details requested. A manual search of the records would be required in order to obtain this information. It is estimated that it will take in excess of 12.5 working hours to locate and retrieve the data in reference to your request as there are over 18,000 records.  This part of your request will not be processed further. Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Article 10 - Obligation of scheduled public authority to confirm or deny holding Information

(a) a person makes a request for information to a scheduled public authority; and

(b) the authority does not hold the information, it must inform the applicant accordingly

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
