Request
Please could you provide numbers of frontline clinicians (Newly Qualified Paramedic, Paramedics, Associate Ambulance Practitioners and Emergency Medical Technicians) who are currently work on an ambulance in a non-driving capacity? I would also like to know how many have worked for you in the last 10 years in the same capacity.
I do not need to know why they cannot drive or the numbers correlating to the kind of clinician just the total is fine.
Response
The Government of Jersey does not have any staff employed as frontline clinicians who work on an ambulance in a non-driving capacity.
Please note that it is part of the requirement under all frontline job descriptions to hold a driving license for the purpose of role rotation on each call.
Information is not held on previous employment in this capacity in the last 10 years.
Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 therefore applies.
