Since the first licenses for commercial cultivation of medicinal cannabis were issued in Jersey in January 2021, please provide a month-by-month breakdown of the number of licenses issued and the amount of money received by the government for these licenses.

Three licences were issued in February 2022. The fees charged for these licences are described in the Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) (Jersey) Order 2020. They are £7,500 per site, plus any fee levied by the UK Home Office:

Six businesses have applied for licences to-date, with one application pending.

Article 23 - Information accessible to applicant by other means
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
