I understand that two surveys are being undertaken or have been completed by the States (or via a States department), one given to parent/carers of deaf / hard of hearing children, the other to deaf children and young people themselves. Please can I have:

Copies of the two survey questions.
B
Given the small numbers in the Island, whether the surveys were a complete survey of all parent/carers of deaf / hard of hearing children and survey to all deaf / hard of hearing children or only a sample?
C
Who conducted the surveys and who designed the questions?
D
Sight of the results of the surveys when published.
E
Whether the Minister for Education has been appraised of the results?

Please find below a copy of the two surveys.

Both surveys were sent to a sample of parents/carers of deaf / hard of hearing pupils with an email address.

The Government of Jersey’s Hearing and Deaf Support Team who are part of the Inclusion Team within Children, Young People, Education and Skills (CYPES) have designed the surveys.

The results have yet to be analysed as the surveys are ongoing and not all results have yet been received.
E
The Minister for Education has not been appraised of the results as the surveys have not been completed and results have yet to be analysed.
