In December 2020, Alex Khaldi, working as an advisor to the Government of Jersey, contacted Steve Martin to ask how an island such as Jersey could encourage the majority of the population to take up the Covid vaccine.

Mr Steve Martin is the Chief Executive of Influence at Work. Influence at Work were paid fees of between £70,000 and £100,000 in 2022.

Mr Alex Khaldi is not a behavioural scientist. It was identified that behavioural science expertise would be beneficial, and Influence at Work had expertise in this field.

The procurement of Influence At Work was conducted in December 2020 with the Scientific and Technical Advisory Cell (STAC).

All procurement processes consider potential conflicts of interest. We are not aware of any conflict sufficient to have not contracted.
