Please advise if the people of Jersey, men and women, have Common Law rights equal to that of the United Kingdom.

The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 provides a general right to be supplied with information held by a scheduled public authority subject to certain exceptions. No information is held in response to this request. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
This request is more akin to a request for legal advice which we are not allowed to provide.

Article 3 - Meaning of “information held by a public authority”
For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –
(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
