Request
Please provide a list of all Jersey charities that receive funding from the Government of Jersey, including their names and the amount of funding allocated to each charity, during which year, along with details of the purposes or projects for which the government funding is provided to each charity.
Response
The exact information requested is not held, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law applies.
The Government of Jersey pays grant funding and subsidies to a range of organisations who perform functions for public benefit, however, does not retain a central record to which of these entities has successfully registered as a Charity. A Scheduled Public Authority is not obliged to create new datasets or manipulate existing data to address Freedom of Information requests, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 therefore applies.
