Please provide:
The total number of reports of people under the age of 18 distributing indecent images of children online during 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013.
Response
The States of Jersey Police has dealt with three cases of indecent images distributed online by people under the age of 18: one in each of 2013, 2015 and 2016.
The practice of swapping images by ‘text’ or ‘sexting’ is more prevalent, however complaints are rarely received.
