Response
A
The Government of Jersey provides funding to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the Jersey Field Squadron (JFS). Operating costs are incurred directly by the MoD and invoiced to GoJ annually in arrears. The latest payment for the UK 2022 to 2023 financial year was £997,769.
B
The Government of Jersey made a contribution of £25,000 to HMS Iron Duke in May 2015. No further funding has been provided.
C
The UK Government's operating costs cover expenses incurred in maintaining the JFS such as personnel, training, movement and equipment.
