A to C

The States of Jersey Police (SOJP) does not maintain written records that would assist to answer the above questions. Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is engaged as it is not possible to provide specific responses.

Uniformed officers are assigned specific duties every day of the year, often divided between vehicle and foot patrols. The Community Policing Team, in particular, has officers dedicated to foot patrols in the town area, conducted on both weekdays and weekends.

During weekend nights, officers are specifically assigned to perform foot patrols in and around busier areas to maintain a high visibility presence and offer reassurance to the public. These foot patrols are primarily conducted by officers from the Response Teams or the Community Policing Team.

In addition, the SOJP will deploy officers from non-uniformed departments to enhance visible policing presence for certain specific events that require additional resources.
