Please could you tell me what sums were expended each year on hospital maintenance since the introduction of Ministerial government in 2005, and which Ministry (or Ministries) that responsibility fell under? Also was the primary responsibility for that under Property Holdings?

The minor discrepancies to some of the total figures are due to rounding.
Responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the Jersey General Hospital falls within the remit of the Health and Social Services Department and is provided through a combination of in-house resources and external contractors.
In addition, Jersey Property Holdings has prioritised a proportion of its overall backlog maintenance budget funding to address specific issues within the Jersey General Hospital that fall outside the remit of the General Hospital’s maintenance team.
Jersey Property Holdings is also responsible for the delivery of property related capital works and has undertaken specific capital works projects within the General Hospital over the period since 2010.
The Health and Social Services Department’s direct labour cost of maintaining the Jersey General Hospital is included in the Health and Social Services Department revenue costs for the period.
