The Park and Ride trial scheme is operational until 31 August 2024 and will help the Government of Jersey to assess what part small-scale schemes such as this might play in encouraging Islanders to switch private vehicle trips to public transport.
At this stage it is difficult to estimate how many people may use the scheme as more permits may be issued. However, 26 permits have been issued to date and spot observations indicate that the scheme has one or two occasional users.
