Request
In the Health and Community Services (HCS) Advisory Board pack it was explained that HCS had submitted a business case to Treasury for 2024 seeking further funding to deal with the repercussions of the rheumatology review.
Please confirm how much is being asked for and whether this has been approved yet.
The Board pack also referenced the fact that HCS received £1.3million from Treasury during 2023 to support the work required in the rheumatology department, and said that this money was largely spent on the use of specialist consultants to review the circa 2,500 patients under rheumatology service.
Please provide a breakdown of how the £1.3m was spent?
