Please advise how much money the Ports of Jersey Limited has paid to the Government of Jersey since the department was incorporated.
Response
Monies received by the Government of Jersey from Ports of Jersey Limited would be through either dividend payments or tax receipts. Since its incorporation, no dividends have been paid by Ports of Jersey Limited to the Government of Jersey.
Ports of Jersey Limited is chargeable to income tax at 20%, however Revenue Jersey is prohibited from disclosing further confidential taxpayer data under Article 8 of the Revenue Administration (Jersey) Law 2019. Article 29 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, which states that information is absolutely exempt if the disclosure is prohibited by an enactment, has therefore been applied.

A breakdown of the comprehensive net expenditure of all states owned assets, including Ports of Jersey, is also published in the States of Jersey Annual Reports and accounts, as per the link below. There are other transactions which occur between the Government of Jersey and Ports of Jersey Limited which are commercial in nature and completed on an arm’s length basis. Transactions which occur between the two parties are eliminated on consolidation.
