Request
Regarding the drop-in hearing aid repair clinic, on the Enid Quenault website it is stated that:
"We advise that behind the ear hearing aids are retubed every 6 months. "
"Our drop in hearing aid repair clinic is available at the Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre. It runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 9am to 12pm"
Please confirm this is accurate and there are no plans or discussions to reduce the hours or cut the service completely at that site, leaving just the General Hospital available. If there are plans or discussions, please provide extracts from Minutes, meetings or emails relating to these proposals.
Response
The information on the website is correct as at 1 August 2024.
There are currently no plans to reduce the hours or the service that is provided at the Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre. Service provision is regularly reviewed, as in all areas of Health and Community Services, to assess how best to use the resources available and meet the needs of service users.
