Information regarding pesticide application records is not held by the Government of Jersey, therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information law applies.
However, Agriculturists have records of their pesticide applications which the Government of Jersey can view on request if records for a specific field are required.
D
The Government of Jersey does not maintain a list or database of pesticides used in farming in the island, therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information law applies.
It should be noted that Jersey only uses UK approved pesticides - which are held in UK commercial databases - UK HSE PSD and Liaison Websites for example.

Article 3 Meaning of “information held by a public authority”
For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –
(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
