Why when you drive from Haut Croix towards St John’s Parish hall the new road surface is akin to a rumble strip and just as an inferior surface as the work done at Maufant.

But you then look at the surface of the new work in St Mary it is perfect.  Please explain why this is.

Response

La Route des Issues approximately from its junction with Mont Mado to the eastern most entrance to the St John branch of Marks and Spencer has recently had a micro asphalt road surface treatment applied. 

The roads in St Mary currently subject to maintenance treatment are currently being reconstructed. 

The requested information regarding the different maintenance methods used and the reasons are partially exempt under Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as the information is accessible on www.gov.je  and can be accessed using the link below.
