Request
A
How many registrations for Licences dwellings were received by 31 July 2024?
B
Based upon information available to the Government of Jersey, how many dwellings have so far failed to apply for registration?
Response
A
In order to issue a licence, a valid payment must be received. As of 31 July 2024, a number of applications were awaiting payment, therefore applications had been submitted prior to 31 July (and subsequently issued with a date prior to 1 August), however the actual licences had not been issued at that stage.
The table below shows how many applications had been received and also the number of Licences Issued:
Applications received
| 16,654
|
Licences Issued | 8,817
|
B
Information on how many dwellings have so far failed to apply for registration is not held by the Government of Jersey, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
