Response
ASCIT
Autism and social communication inclusion team (ASCIT) is an Inclusion Service for schools. The schools prioritise their cases and ASCIT respond. There is no waiting list as there is no referral process.
CAMHS
The current waiting time as at September 2024 for routine referrals into CAMHS is 28 days. This is the average number of days from referral to completion of the initial assessment of routine referrals.
Education Psychologists
The schools prioritise their cases and EPs respond. There is no waiting list as there is no referral process. On occasion cases maybe directed by the Head of Inclusion as requiring involvement from an educational Psychologist.
Health and Community Services (HCS) response
As at the end of October 2024:
Speech and Language Therapy
270 children and young people, identified as those under the age of 18 at the time of their referral, are on the waiting list for a first outpatient appointment with HCS’ Speech and Language Therapy Department.
Occupational Therapists
280 children and young people, identified as those under the age of 18 at the time of their referral, are on the waiting list for a first outpatient appointment with HCS’ Occupational Therapy Department at the Jersey General Hospital.
