How many Revenue Jersey employees, including contracted staff, have been engaged holding Residential status as Licensed? Please confirm what positions they hold. Please provide separate answers for 2023 and 2024.

Response

The number of employees in Revenue Jersey with a Jersey Residency Status of 'Licensed' in 2023 was 19, and for 2024 the number 18 (out of a total department headcount of 157 people).

Employees who were employed in both 2023 and 2024 are counted once per year. 

We are unable to provide a breakdown of these staff by the positions they hold as this would identify individuals, Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, has been applied.

Article 25 - Personal information

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.

(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and

(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.​
