Has anyone been prosecuted in the last 10 years for not having a ppl prs

(Performing rights) licence for playing the radio in a shop please

Response

The States of Jersey Police confirm there have been no prosecutions for not having a Performing Rights Society for Music PPL PRS licence (now TheMusicLicence) for playing the radio in a shop, in the last 10 years.

The holding of such a licence ensures compliance with the Intellectual Property (Unregistered Rights) (Jersey) Law 2011.
