Request
Since its establishment in 1992 how much funding has the Jersey Arts Trust now operating as the Art House Jersey revived from the government of Jersey (formally the states of Jersey)?
How much of this funding been used to pay for staff since its establishment and how many staff have been employed in this time?
Is the ArtHouse a branch of the government?
Response
1. Government of Jersey only has records of payments to the organisation mentioned going back to 2003. Between 2003 and 2024 Jersey Arts Trust has received £17,223,476. These payments are made up of annual grants made to the charity as an arm's length organisation along with funds for commissioned projects, hiring and contracted services. Additionally, there were historical loan repayments relating to the improvement works on the Jersey Opera House, which was structured through the charity
