How many primary and secondary school teachers have resigned each year, between 2020 and 2024?

If possible, could you provide the names of the schools, and any reasoning given for the resignation?

Response

We are unable to provide specific reasons for employee departures due to the low number of cases, as this could potentially identify individual employees and therefore would be subject to redaction. Additionally, we cannot break down the data by individual schools for the same reason. Therefore we have applied Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

Please note that the data we are providing includes all leavers who were on the teacher’s pay scale and excludes zero-hour employees. It specifically accounts for those who have left the Government of Jersey (GoJ) entirely and does not include any internal transfers.
