During the period of Jan 1st 2023 to Jan 1st 2025, what percentage of RTC incidents attended by the emergency services involved a driver over 65?
Response
Attached is the table detailing the percentage of RTCs (road traffic collisions) attended by the States of Jersey Police between January 1st 2023, and January 1st 2025, involving drivers over the age of 65. It is important to note that accurate RTC data is only available from “recordable” RTCs (please see below for the definition of recordable RTCs). The States of Jersey Police does not hold the age of individuals included in non-recordable RTCs in recorded form. To provide a response to your request would require a manual search of a number of data sets to create a new one. A Scheduled Public Authority is not required to manipulate data to provide a response. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies as this information is not held.
