​In the last 3 years how many days has Mont A Labe school been closed (excluding standard Jersey school holiday) compared to mainstream schools. What were the reasons for the closure.

Response

Mont à l'Abbé School was fully closed for a total of 9 days during the last three academic years (2021/2022 - 2023/2024) for Heatwave, Storm Ciaran and Strike Action. This excludes school holidays, inset days and bank holidays.

Government of Jersey Mainstream Schools were fully closed on average for 8 days in the same time period.​
