I would like to know how the weekly charges of the registered properties / lodgers in the attached document have been arrived at. Meaning the factors taken into consideration and figures to arrive at those figures.

Response
The respective owners of the registered properties set the rents to be charged. These are the rents shown in the published document (Breakdown of charges in registered lodging houses 2025 to 2026). The Government of Jersey is not involved in the setting of rents in properties registered under the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962. Therefore Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies as the requested information is not held.
