Please answer the following questions:

1. From the positive pregnancy tests resulting from fresh IVF cycles and Frozen Embryo Transfers undertaken with the ARU in 2024, how many of these continued as viable pregnancies with patients referred on to ante-natal care? 

2. How many unique patients underwent fresh IVF and/or Frozen Embryo Transfers with the ARU in 2024? If the same patient underwent both procedures please count them as 1 unique patient. 

3. Please provide a breakdown by year for the number of IUI cycles performed on island between 2019-2023 including the number of positive tests that resulted from the procedure.

Of the 63 positive pregnancy tests resulting from Fresh IVF cycles and Frozen Embryo Transfers, 37 were referred to Antenatal services.

There were 75 unique patients in 2024.

The Assisted Reproduction Unit (ARU) does not hold the requested data, as the majority of these treatments were performed privately. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
