Response
Law drafting instructions were issued by the Minister for Health and Social Services to the Law Drafting Office on 04 March 2025. It is due to be lodged for debate in the States Assembly before the end of this year.
The date on which the draft Law is proposed to come into force is not yet known, due to a number of variables contained within the legislative development and enactment process. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
A public link to the legislation will become available on the States Assembly website once the legislation has been drafted and lodged as a proposition for debate.
