Health and Care Jersey employs one interpreter on a full-time equivalent (FTE) basis, and has multiple staff contracted to provide this service on a ‘zero hours’ contract basis.
Staff expenditure for in-person verbal interpreting was £132,517.44 in 2024.
Staff expenditure does not include costs for externally provided telephone interpreting or written translation services.
