Email communications regarding purchase of Jersey Royal (FOI)

​Can the email communications be shared between the Council of Ministers who discussed the purchase of Jersey Royal between the period of July 2022 and December 2023?

Searches were run on the email accounts of each of the members of the Council of Ministers in place during the period in question with the date parameters of 1st July 2022 to 31 December 2023. 

The search term used was ‘Jersey Royal’. 

The resulting emails were  reviewed and it was confirmed that no correspondence relevant to the request was located. 

It is therefore concluded that the requested information is not held by the Government of Jersey and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b)     it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.​
