How much income tax did the 1500 immigrants to the Island in 2015 pay? We have been told on CTV they pay in more than they cost.
Response
The Taxes Office systems do not differentiate between people who have different residential status; hence the Taxes Office is unable to specify the amount of personal income tax paid by immigrants arriving in 2015 separately from the tax paid by other people.
