A previous FOI request outlined supply teachers used in all schools between 2012 and October 2015. This information can be found at the following link:

In order to enable comparison with the previous FOI request, secondary schools and provisions have been included.

Total number of different teachers used for each year are provided in the table below.

The Education Department has determined that this information is exempt under Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, as it is estimated that it will take in excess of 12.5 hours to collect the information.  

Exemptions

Article 16:  A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed any fee of an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations for the purposes of Article 15.
