May I have access to the following:
Emails exchanged between Chief Officer Mike Bowron's gov.je email account and the Home Affairs Minister Kristina Moore's gov.je email account since January 2015 that contain the words 'new' and 'police headquarters'.
Clarification
Clarification was sought advising that no correspondence existed between the Chief Officer and the Minister on email on this subject, advising that the Deputy Chief Officer was the lead for the New Police Headquarters project. The requester re-submitted the request adding the Deputy Chief Officer to the original request.
Response
The States of Jersey Police hold no emails sent directly between the Minister and the Chief Officer or Deputy Chief Officer on the subject of the New Police Headquarters. We do hold some e-mails between the officers and the Minister’s Personal Assistant – see below. These cover the invitations to the ‘Topping Out’ ceremony and regular updates to the progress of the new building as requested by the Scrutiny panel. Some names of individuals have been redacted as personal data is exempt from publication as described below.
