Table 1 below shows, by department and on a monthly basis, the amount of staff from June 2015 to August 2016. It is also noted that, during this period, certain functions transferred between departments, mainly Jersey Property Holdings from Treasury & Resources to the Department for Infrastructure, and Sport and Culture from Education to Economic Development.  Information regarding the above movements can be found via the link below:

Due to certain departments having low levels of resignations, dismissals and voluntary redundancies, we are unable to provide a table by department, reason and month, to protect the identify of individuals who left for those reasons, consequently, Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has also been applied to this request. However, we are able to show, by department, a consolidated view of the amount of staff that left due to the reasons listed below:

• resignation
• contract expiry
• dismissal
• voluntary redundancy

This information is shown in Table 2 below:

Given that the number of appeals and tribunals from formal disciplinary cases is very low (less than 10) we are unable to provide a breakdown by department; to protect the identities of the individuals, Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

C
