Health Chief Officer resigns

The Chief Officer of the Health and Social Services Department, Mike Pollard, has resigned from his post for personal reasons. Mr Pollard, who has worked for the States of Jersey since 2004, leaves with effect from Wednesday 30 September.

The Health Department’s Deputy Chief Officer, Richard Jouault, will take on the role of Acting Chief Officer until permanent arrangements are made to appoint a Chief Officer.

A recruitment process will begin shortly to fill the post.
